Kerala is one of the most popular global tourist destination in India. Famous for its tropical rainforests, backwaters, beaches, hill stations and ayurvedic spas, the state is popularly known as God’s own country. Kerala has a 650km long coastline and has many beaches. In the guided walk through the forest, you get to see loads of different animals including Great Indian Hornbill, giant squirrel, black monkey and even elephants.
Munnar is a small town situated amidst tea plantations. In Munnar, you get to see the rare secies of Nilgiri Tahr in Eravikulam National Park. The Top station in Munnar provides an array of scenic beauties.
Get to Alappuzha and you get to experience the backwaters. The sun gliding through the canals, the green stretch of coconut trees, the paddy fields, the birds, the forests, the beautiful villages and the music produced by oar touching the water all makes for the romantic mood.
Kerala has many beautiful beaches including the famous Kovalam, Varkala, Cherayi and Kappad. The many important religious places of Kerala includes Sabarimala, Malayattoor, Guruvayoor, CHeraman Juma Masjid and Thrissur Puthan Palli. The people of Kerala are friendly and the food is awesome. The place is considered as one of the 10 paradises of the world and National Geographic Traveller Magazine elected Kerala as one of the 50 places one must visit before they kick the bucket.
